Directory of Research 2001-2002

What is it?

The Directory of Research 2001-2002 provides information and contacts concerning AAFC’s research programs, centres, and staff. We invite you to get to know us better.

What are you going to find here?

The menu bar along the left offers seven links to give you continuous access to the Directory throughout the Web site. The introduction provides a description of the how agri-food science is helping to put Canada first and explains how to use the directory. Resources provides some basic statistics for you, in Research at a glance. Staff takes you to a newly revamped AAFC database DirectInfo, where you can search for AAFC employees responsibilities, and organizations. Publications will bring you to a new national inventory of published information. You will be able to search there by author name, specific region, research centre, or subject. Research achievements summarizes just some of the many projects we are working on, presenting them by priorities, programs and themes or research fields. You can navigate from these stories to work being done in similar areas or you can connect to the research centre responsible for the project. Research Centres takes you to a page displaying mandates and contacts for each of AAFC’s 19 research centres. And finally... choosing Archives allows you to look back at previous years’ information.
