Application form for NEW clients only - those who have never been allotted cattle in PFRA pastures. Current patrons will receive forms in the mail. Application Deadline: November 1, 2004. Canada-Alberta Farm Water Program (CAFWP)The new program is jointly funded by the federal government and provincial government. Federal dollars are contributed through the recently signed Agriculture Policy Framework Implementation Agreement. For more information, visit the Alberta Provincial web site Application Deadline: Producers have until March 31, 2005, to complete their projects and until April 15, 2005 to submit their application. . Shelterbelt ProgramWorks to enhance environmental sustainability and biodiversity through the use of shelterbelts and contributes to economic development by encouraging diversification in areas such as agroforestry.
Application Deadline for all provinces : March 15 of every year for delivery of tree seedlings that spring. Shelterbelt Enhancement ProgramThis program is designed to reduce greenhouse gases through increased shelterbelt plantings on agricultural lands across the Prairies. Application Deadline: September 30, 2004 for spring 2005 delivery. Prairie Grain Roads Program (PGRP)This program provides assistance to upgrade some of the municipal roads in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Peace River region of British Columbia and provincial highways in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Peace River region of British Columbia that are used for the transportation of grain.
