FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND TERRITORIAL AGRICULTURE MINISTERS MEET FOR ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN KANANASKIS

OTTAWA, July 4, 2005 - Ministers of Agriculture will meet at their annual federal-provincial-territorial conference being held from July 5 to 8 in Kananaskis, Alberta. They will discuss a wide range of significant initiatives to Canada's agriculture and agri food sectors.

Wednesday, July 6, 2:45 p.m. (MDT): A five-minute photo opportunity will take place in the Gold/Silver Meeting Room in the convention building at the Delta Kananaskis Village.

Friday, July 8, 2 p.m. (MDT): Media are invited to attend a press conference in the Bronze Meeting Room in the convention building at the Delta Kananaskis Village. Those who wish to attend by teleconference can call 1 888 265 0464.
