FUNDING FOR SCIENCE AND INNOVATION PROJECTS TO BE ANNOUNCED AT THE ROYAL AGRICULTURE WINTER FAIR

OTTAWA, November 4, 2005 - On behalf of the federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Andy Mitchell, MP Paul Steckle (Huron Bruce) with the Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Leona Dombrowsky will announce investments in science and innovation projects at the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair in Toronto, on Monday, November 7. These projects involve various partnerships between the agri-business, academic and health sciences sectors as well as research institutions. Minister Mitchell is unable to attend the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair because he has been called away for WTO negotiations.
