MINISTER STRAHL TO MEET PROVINCIAL COUNTERPART AND INDUSTRY LEADERS IN WINNIPEG

Ottawa, February 27, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in Winnipeg to meet with his provincial counterpart, the Manitoba Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives Rosann Wowchuk, on Monday, February 27. Both Ministers will be available to speak to media after their meeting. During his visit to Winnipeg, Minister Strahl will also meet with industry leaders and the Board of Directors of the Canadian Wheat Board.
