MINISTER STRAHL TO SPEAK ON FEDERAL BUDGET AT THE CALGARY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

OTTAWA, May 4, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in Calgary on Friday, May 5, to address the members of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce on the 2006 federal budget. Minister Strahl will speak to the budget as well as the federal government's commitment to the agriculture sector. Minister Strahl will be available to speak to media after his statement.
