MEETING OF FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND TERRITORIAL MINISTERS OF AGRICULTURE IN CALGARY, ALBERTA

CALGARY, Alberta, November 10, 2006 – The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be participating in the meeting of federal, provincial and territorial ministers of Agriculture in Calgary on November 14th. The meeting will be co-chaired by Newfoundland and Labrador Minister of Natural Resources Kathy Dunderdale and hosted by Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development Minister Doug Horner. Agriculture ministers will be available to speak to media following the meeting.
