Grains and Field Crops

The Grains and Field Crops Section of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of policy directives to prevent the introduction and spread of regulated quarantine pests of grains and field crops into Canada. This section also gives policy direction to ensure that exports of grains and field crops meet the plant quarantine import requirements of countries that import Canadian products. This section provides information for producers, importers, exporters and regulatory organizations of grains and field crops.
