Current Regulations

Fuels Information Regulations, No. 1 (SOR/C.R.C., c. 407)


The Regulations apply to persons producing or importing into Canada more than 400 cubic metres of fuel that contains additives in a year. Information on the sulphur content of these fuels and on additives (other than lead or lead compounds) must be reported to the Minister. The Regulations apply to fuels in liquid form that originate from crude oils, coal or bituminous sands.
