Creativity has always been a part of Dr. Vida Henderson’s DNA. The public health researcher’s work involves listening and learning about peoples’ experiences, trying to discover what’s meaningful to them and then tailoring scientific programs and interventions that address these issues.

Breast Cancer Metastasis

Translational breast cancer researcher Dr. Cyrus Ghajar is working to identify how cancer cells can break off from a tumor and find new homes in distant organs, where they can lie quiet for months, years or decades before rousing and sparking growth of new tumors.
