$5,000 fine for Les Aliments T & N Inc

The Lachine company Les Aliments T & N Inc pleaded guilty to and was convicted of admitting meat products from a non-registered establishment to a registered establishment.

This act contravenes paragraph 44(1)(b) of the Meat Inspection Regulations.

Justice Suzanne Bousquet of the Court of Quebec ordered the company to pay a $5,000 fine within 12 months. The decision was handed down at the Montreal courthouse on November 14, 2005.
