La Coop Fédérée Fined $2,000

On May 19, 2006, the La Coop Fédérée was found guilty of one charge for violating the Feeds Regulations,1983.

The La Coop Fédérée was convicted of manufacturing feeds not registered under section 5 of the Feeds Regulations, 1983  (SOR/83-593). The offence was committed on March 17, 2006.

Judge Marcotte of the Court of Quebec fined the La Coop Fédérée $2,000 plus costs, and ordered it to pay this amount within three months. The decision was handed down at the Montreal Courthouse on May 19, 2006.
