$4,000 Fine for Possession of Three White-tailed Deer, Moved without a Permit

Martin Pouliot, a resident of St Antoine de Tilly, was found guilty of having in his possession three white-tailed deer which had been moved without the permit required in section 160 of the Health of Animals Regulations, thereby contravening subsection 76(2) of the Health of Animals Regulations.

On January 16, 2004, Mr Justice Vallières of the Court of Quebec fined Mr Pouliot $4,000.
