The Centre consists of 145 hectares of federal land at Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Centre is comprised of 80 hectares on the main site and 65 hectares on a satellite irrigated site located east of Outlook. A total of 120 hectares is available for irrigation research and demonstration ranging from small plot trials to commercial scale production. The Executive Management Committee is the governing body of the Centre. It consists of federal and provincial representatives: one from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, PFRA, one from Saskatchewan Agriculture & Food, one from the Irrigated Crop Diversification Corporation (ICDC) and one from the Saskatchewan Irrigation Projects Association (SIPA). The Executive Management Committee provides direction to the Centre Manager. The manager is responsible for managing the staff, programs, contracts and budgets assigned to the Centre. This includes the Centre's involvement in collaborative projects with industry, university researchers, and extension services. The Canada Saskatchewan Irrigation and Diversification Centre is staffed by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, PFRA. An ICDC agrologist is also located at the Centre.
