Variety Registration Application Form

Refer to the "Procedures for the Registration of Crop Varieties in Canada" document to ensure that the application contains sufficient information for registration or contact the Variety Registration Office, Plant Health and Production Division for further information.

In order to avoid unnecessary delays in the registration process, please ensure that all pertinent information along with a properly tagged and sealed reference sample (or in the case of potato varieties, photographic slides) are submitted with the application.

As original signatures are required to complete the application for registration, applications submitted by facsimile must be followed by original applications sent by mail or courier

Previous versions of the application form should be destroyed.
