MINISTER STRAHL TO ANNOUNCE COVER CROP PROTECTION PROGRAM

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, May 23, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in St. Adolphe on Tuesday, May 23, to outline key elements of the new Cover Crop Protection Program announced in the Budget 2006. The Minister will be available to speak to media following his announcement.
