Country of origin
- Products prepared in Canada, from fruits and vegetables processed in Canada Indicating "Product of Canada" is OPTIONAL for the purposes of marketing in Canada and export. - Processed fruit and vegetables products, wholly manufactured in a country other than Canada The declaration of the country of origin is MANDATORY. The country of origin may be declared as part of the name and address of the foreign packer (processor) or as a separate declaration. * see definition of wholly manufactured in section 11.6 of this chapter - Processed fruit and vegetables products, prepared in Canada from imported fruits and vegetables The declaration of the country of origin is OPTIONAL. * apply the 51% rule if called "Product of Canada".
