Industrial machines, Forklifts, Ice resurfacers, etc.

Planned vehicle and engine emission regulations for off-road machines powered by large spark-ignition engines are under development. Spark-ignition engines are typically gasoline engines, but can include propane and natural gas powered engines. Typical examples of such machines include forklifts and ice arena resurfacers.

It is planned that these proposed regulations will introduce standards for smog forming emissions in Canada aligned with those standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency.
