Dialogue with Canadians

In 2002, the Government of Canada, in partnership with provinces, territories and industry stakeholders, held consultations with a wide range of groups and individuals. Consultations were based on a series of documents outlining the APF and its five priorities - food safety and quality, environment, science and innovation, renewal and business risk management. The input provided was analyzed and considered in the policy development process.
