evening then increasing to 20 to 30 Monday morning. Partial clearing

afternoon.

From Pointe-des-Monts to Anticosti - northern half.
Gale warning in effect...
Winds northwest 15 to 25 knots increasing to 25 to 35 Monday 
afternoon. Risk of freezing spray Monday evening. Clearing this 
evening. Low minus 4. High minus 2.

From Pointe-des-Monts to Anticosti - southern half.
Gale warning in effect...
Winds northwest 15 to 25 knots increasing to 25 to 35 Monday 
afternoon. Risk of freezing spray Monday evening. Visibilities fair 
to poor in flurries Monday afternoon and in the evening. Low minus 2.

Synopsis and marine forecasts for the St Lawrence river from Cornwall 
to Anticosti and the Saguenay River issued by Environment Canada 
Montréal at 03:30 PM EST Sunday 10 December 2006 for this evening 
tonight and Monday.
Next forecasts issued at 03:30 AM Monday.

Synopsis at 11:00 AM EST Sunday and forecasts positions by Monday 
08:00 PM EST.
A cold front from Labrador toward Lake Huron will stretch from 
Anticosti to just south of Montréal Monday morning. Behind the front, 
a high pressure ridge on an east to west axis will develop across 
ile-aux- coudres Monday.  Southwest to west gale force winds are 
still affecting areas downstream Tadoussac. These winds will diminish 
to northwest moderate to strong behind the front tonight. However 
winds will increase again Monday afternoon to reach gale force over 
the southern half of Pointe-des-Monts to Anticosti.  A risk of 
freezing spray is also forecast over these areas.
Upstream Tadoussac, winds moderate to strong will diminish to light 
to moderate this evening and tonight.

From Cornwall to Montréal.
Winds southwest 10 to 15 knots becoming variable to less than 10 
tonight then northeast 10 Monday afternoon. Fair visibilities under 
showers or flurries tonight and Monday morning. Low 1. High 2.

From Montréal to Trois-Rivières.
Winds southwest 10 to 20 knots becoming variable to less than 10 
tonight then northeast 10 Monday. Fair visibilities in snow tonight. 
Low zero. High 1.

From Trois-Rivières to Donnacona.
Winds southwest 10 to 20 knots becoming variable to less than 10 
tonight then northeast 10 Monday. Visibilities at times fair under 
flurries tonight. Low minus 1. High 1.

From Donnacona to Île-aux-Coudres.
Winds southwest 15 to 25 knots becoming west 10 to 15 this evening 
then becoming northeast 10 or less tonight. Winds becoming northwest 
Monday near midday. Visibilities at times fair in flurries this 
evening. Low minus 3. High minus 1.

From Île-aux-Coudres to Tadoussac.
Winds southwest 15 to 30 knots becoming west to northwest 10 to 15 
this evening and Monday. Visibilities at times fair in flurries this 
evening. Low minus 3. High minus 1.

From Chicoutimi to Tadoussac.
Winds west 20 to 30 knots diminishing to 10 to 20 this evening then 
increasing to 15 to 25 Monday morning. Winds becoming 10 to 15 Monday 
afternoon. Visibilities at times fair in flurries this evening. Low 
minus 7. High minus 5.
