- Prepares and maintains Provincial Highway Network maps and Road Atlases
- Designs and produces thematic maps
- Maintains National Road Network (NRN) mapping for the province
- Compiles and distributes Highway Inventory Data
- Coordinate database development
- Conducts GPS field Mapping and asset inventorying
- Researches and develops GIS-T applications
- Is responsible for the development and maintenance of selected information systems
