What do we do...

This Section is responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and traffic operations for the province.

Install and maintain highway signage, including regulatory, warning, and information signage.
Highway marking, including centerline, lane lines, shoulder and edge lines, and intersection marking.
Installation, maintenance and operation of traffic signals and flashing beacons.
Installation and maintenance of area lighting.
Installation and maintenance of Highway Information Signage System.
Pre-marking newly constructed roadways and intersections.
Administration of the Roads Act, Highway Access Regulations.
Administration of the entrance way installation policy.
Traffic operations in municipalities and areas of provincial jurisdiction.
Financial management of the section including contract administration, payments, tendering, purchasing and specifications.
Sign Shop.
