Status of Roads

- The roads on PEI fall into two main categories Public and
Private. The Provincial Property Section can be a first point
of contact if you are attempting to determine the status of
any particular road or portion of a road. A review of
available information on the road will be performed by the
staff and you would be advised of their findings.
- The
Office of the Chief Provincial
Surveyor has the authority to determine road status.
You may well be referred to this office for a final decision.
