Summerside was the pilot Access PEI site, opening March 23, 1998, and replacing the Regional Services Centre, Highway Safety Office and Property Tax and Records Office. A customer satisfaction survey carried out in the fall of 1998 produced a 94 percent overall customer satisfaction rating.
