The Major Drainage Systems of the PFRA Watershed Project is an ArcInfo coverage that shows, based on height of land, the three (3) major drainage systems of the Prairies. The maj_sys attribute is one of the three drainage systems, namely, Arctic Ocean, Hudson Bay, or Missouri River.
Purpose:

To supply the thematic layer of major prairie drainage systems of the PFRA Watershed Project for hydroligic analyses and mapping in watershed management across the Canadian prairies.
