The network for the hydrometric gauging stations of the PFRA Watershed Project is a coverage of arcs, whose nodes match the location of the Project's hydrometric gauging stations. The arcs act as connectors between all the gauging stations. The connection is directional downstream.
Purpose:

To supply the thematic layer of the network linking the hydrometric gauging stations of the PFRA Watershed Project for hydroligic analyses and mapping in watershed management across the Canadian prairies.

GROSS ONLY INDICATOR: The "gross only" concept is thus: if a drainage area is separated from its downstream counterpart by a non-contributing area, then only the "gross" area should be supplied to downstream stations, not the effective ("contributing") or the non-contributing areas. This boolean field can contain only a 1 or 0. If calculating only the total upstream "gross" area for downstream stations, set the variable to 1.
