CUSTOMS NOTICE N-015

Ottawa, December 8, 1995

Certain Residential Steel Storage Buildings

This is to advise that the Department has concluded its review of undertaking prices for certain residential steel storage buildings under 200 square feet in area, assembled or unassembled, originating in or exported from the United States of America and manufactured by or on behalf of Arrow Group Industries, Inc., its successors and assigns.

This action stems from an antidumping investigation initiated on September 9, 1994, pursuant to a complaint filed by Spacemaker Ltd. of Mississauga, Ontario, relating to certain residential steel storage buildings under 200 square feet in area. These goods are properly classified under the following Harmonized System tariff numbers:

9406.00.99.20
9406.00.99.90

On December 7, 1994, the investigation was suspended following the acceptance of a price undertaking agreement whereby the exporter agreed to sell in Canada at undumped prices.

The purpose of this review was to update the undertaking prices to reflect current market condition. These revised prices will be applicable to those goods released from Revenue Canada's possession on or after November 28, 1995.

Any questions concerning the above should be directed to:
