How does a caregiver get health insurance The Ministry of Health (MOH) in Ontario regulates the publicly funded Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Most Ontario residents are eligible for coverage under the Plan. It is a caregiver's obligation to determine their eligibility and to initiate steps to obtain coverage.
