Acts and Regulations

Processed fishery products are subject to specific labelling and marking requirements.

Labelling:

All labels must indicate the following in Spanish:

-name of product, grade or quality, composition, and net weight or volume measurement in metric units.

Registration of labels may be required prior to exportation to Costa Rica.

Tolerances and Guidelines

None specified.

Certification Requirements

May require a pre-approval letter.

Certificate of Origin and Hygiene (FP 1404 (11/91)).
