Instructions for Searching
Instructions on how to perform a search
To perform a search, start by clicking on the Search Button. This will then bring you through a series of screens that will narrow down your search and yield the most applicable standing offers (SO) and supply arrangements (SA).
If you require information regarding what to enter in each field, click on the underlined field title found beside each box. - e.g. Goods.
If at any time you want to return to these Instructions, simply click on Help in the tool bar at the top of the page.

| 1.1 Use the check boxes, select goods or services or both. |
| 1.2 Select your department/agency from the list. |
| 1.3 Select your desired delivery point(s) from the list, i.e. Area(s) available for use {i.e. delivery point(s)}. |
2.0 Specific Search Criteria (Optional) |
| 2.1 Select your mandatory commodity group, if applicable, from the Mandatory Commodities list. |
| 2.2 If you know specific details about your search, use the Specific Search Criteria (Optional) section at the bottom of the page. For example, if the specific standing offer or supply arrangement number is known or if the specific supplier or the specific GSIN for the product or service is known, enter the data in the appropriate search field and the applicable standing offer(s) or supply arrangement(s) and the applicable Procurement Business Number will be retrieved for reviewing. |
| 2.3 Alternatively, if you want to search the commodity lists for your particular product or service, type in the product or service name in the Product/Service field. |
| Note: These fields require the EXACT SPELLING to return a match. |
| 2.4 If you do not know the specific word(s) or cannot obtain a successful result, leave the Specific Search Criteria fields blank and click the general Search button in the middle of the screen. |
3.0 Results Screen |
| 3.1 Select the specific commodity area (i.e. product or service category) from the pick list. |
| TIP - If you aren't sure what the commodity is, but generally know who some of the suppliers may be, enter the supplier name on screen 1 and click Search. The results for that supplier may indicate the commodity group you are looking for. If so, you can then go back to screen 2 and select the commodity area. |
| 3.2 Select the delivery point(s) for the required delivery destination of your goods or services, i.e. from the Area(s) available for use {i.e. delivery point(s)} pick list. |
4.0 Detail Screen |
| 4.1 From the detail screen, you can determine if a standing offer or supply arrangement meets your needs. |
| 4.2 Should more detail be required, click View Tombstone or View Standing Offer. From these results, you can determine if a standing offer or supply arrangement meets your needs. In some instances, you may have to contact the supplier for product or service details. |
| 4.3 To determine how to choose from multiple results or to place an order, click About this site. |
5.0 Buttons on the menu on the left side of the Home page screen (Optional) |
| 5.1 To access standing offer basic information or the list of suppliers within a series, click the Standing Offer Updates link and then click a standing offer number on the SO Updates page. |
| 5.2 To access forms to complete for making a call-up against a particular standing offer or supply arrangement, click the Forms option on the menu on the left side of the Home page screen. |
| 5.3 To access the intranet site users are to click the Related Links option on the menu on the left side of the Home page screen. |
Should you not find an applicable SO and/or SA or not wish to use the result(s) found, contact the PWGSC Help Desk at 1 866 664-6609 prior to utilizing an alternate means of procurement.
