Buying and Selling

Each year PWGSC buys about $20 billion in goods and services on behalf of government departments and agencies - everything from vehicles to staplers to military uniforms.

We have embarked on a procurement transformation initiative to simplify this purchasing and save the government $2.5 billion over five years. PWGSC is also taking steps to ensure all suppliers, regardless of size or location, have fair and open access to government procurement opportunities.
