Participating Departments and Agencies
The Government On-Line initiative was presented with a gold medal in 2005
during the Government Technology Exhibition (GTEC) gala. GTEC is a highly respected
and uniquely Canadian annual event where excellence within the public sector
is recognized.
The prize was awarded to all 34 federal
departments and agencies participating in Government On-Line to acknowledge
the use of information and communication technology to enhance Canadians'
access to improved and integrated services, anytime, anywhere and in the
official language of their choice.
