The Supplier Information (SI) service
Government buyers are you surfing the Internet or searching through directories trying to find suppliers for the goods and services you buy?
Business Access Canada has an online system, the Supplier Information (SI) service, which is a database of more than 78,000 companies who have registered to do business with the federal government.
The system is a searchable Intranet database of information about companies including their legal and operating names, addresses, contact names, telephone numbers, the products and services the companies sell and the geographic areas they serve (by province). You can search this database by commodity or supplier.
This database has been created to become the federal government central registration system for companies who want to do business with the government. We ask that you encourage your suppliers to register through Business Access Canada.
