Quotations are obtained, where possible, through a competitive process. These activities are decentralized to responsibility centre managers who have the option of purchasing using acquisition cards or requesting a local purchase order from Finance and Corporate Services Goods: $5,000 to $25,000: The CRTC may purchase directly from suppliers or solicit competitive bids. Quotations are obtained, where possible, through a competitive process. All purchases are handled centrally through Finance and Corporate Services Finance which has the option of purchasing using a local purchase order, a call-up against a standing offer (arranged through PWGSC), or a purchasing card in special cases.
