Ontario Region

If your company is located in Ontario, but outside the National Capital area, you will probably deal with the Ontario Region of Public Works and Government Services Canada. The Ontario Region buys goods and services for federal departments and agencies throughout the province. It also negotiates real property contracts such as leasing, construction, architectural and engineering services.

Ontario Region headquarters are located in Toronto, Ontario.

The Region is divided into three districts:

South-Central, with offices in Mississauga, Borden, Toronto and North Bay
South-Eastern, with an office in Kingston and Petawawa
South-West, with an office in London

The Ontario Region's top clients are National Defence, Environment Canada, Correctional Service Canada and Transport Canada.

The Region's Supplier Promotion section organizes basic seminars that provide potential suppliers with information essential to an understanding of the federal procurement and contracting process. Also available to the supplier community are specialized seminars covering more detailed information on specific topics of interest to suppliers such as proposal writing.
