DELAY IN DOCUMENT DELIVERY

As previously announced (see http://publications.gc.ca/helpAndInfo/whtsnw-e.htm#Order_Fulfillment_Delays
), the transition to new technology and warehouse services is taking longer
than anticipated. For this reason the ordering and claims period for depository
libraries is being extended.
Normally, selective depository libraries within Canada have fifty working days
to order and claim checklist items (70 working days for foreign addresses).
This ordering and claims period has been extended indefinitely for items listed
in Checklists 04-11 and following until normal operations are resumed.
In addition, for Checklists 04-11 and following, depository libraries that
receive permanent mailing list items (“two-dot items”), should
not submit claims for these publications if they have not been received.
The shipping of mailing list items has also been delayed by the circumstances
of the present transition.
