Privacy Notice

The Government of Canada and Status of Women Canada are committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who visit our Web sites. The following summarizes the privacy policy and practices of Status of Women Canada Web sites:

• Status of Women Canada does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number or e-mail address. On various sections of Status of Women Canada Web sites, you can choose to correspond via e-mail or by completing feedback forms. These allow you to make comments and suggestions or to ask questions. • Information on individual visitors is used by employees of Status of Women Canada who need the information in order to respond to your request or to ensure the security of this system. • All personal information created, held or collected by the Status of Women Canada is protected under the federal Privacy Act. • Status of Women Canada does not normally use "cookies" to track how our visitors use this site or to determine sites previously visited.
