Private Sector Client Services And Support

The GEDIS provides services that support the private sector client organizations that link to the internal government client applications.

The GEDIS team can provide private sector organizations with assistance in the re-engineering of their business transaction flows. This assistance will help application owners to become fully electronically enabled and facilitate error free transaction flows.

The GEDIS team will assist private sector organizations in the establishment of electronic mailbox requirements and network linkages that are needed to exchange data electronically. The service supports many communication methods providing an extensive reach to many private sector organizations.

The service also supports the electronic testing and certification of private sector organizations as they develop their electronic links. This assistance insures that communication interfaces, processing flows, data formats, acknowledgment requirements and data standards are adhered to by each organization that deals electronically with client applications.

If required, the service can also provide status reporting of the electronic transaction flows. These status reports can be provided back to the originating organization that deals electronically with external client applications. This information is provided from the history and audit trail of transactions that are maintained as part of the GEDIS full service.

There is also hot line support provided to private sector organizations that deal with the GEDIS. This provides a single point of contact for organizations to use for any problems or issues that may occur in the electronic interface to the service.
