How can you access your funds?If you farm in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, or the Yukon, contact the federal CAIS Administration to request a withdrawal. The CAIS Administration will contact your financial institution to authorize a withdrawal. When will you receive your money?Every effort will be made to process your request and have your financial institution issue a payment to you within 30 days from the day you make your request. Do you need to redeposit?At this time, producers are still required to have one third of their required deposit in a CAIS account by the deposit deadline. The deposit deadline for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 program years has been extended to March 31, 2006. However, alternatives to the deposit requirement are being discussed. You will be notified as soon as possible of any changes. You may wish to leave your CAIS account in place with a zero balance in the event that a deposit continues to be required. The CAIS program is delivered in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Yukon by the federal government.
