Overview of CIHR's funding opportunity process
- A complete list of grant, salary, training and research related activity funding opportunities, which have an international aspect, that are currently open for application can be found below.
- Once the application date has passed, opportunities are moved to our archives.
- Should the opportunity have future competitions, the "Subsequent Competition" will show the next available deadline date.

- A complete list of CIHR funding opportunities, including the ability to filter opportunities by program category or research area (which reflect the units of CIHR), can be found in the main CIHR Funding Health Research section.
Trouble finding a specific opportunity?
- If the deadline date has passed, then the opportunity may have been moved to the archives.
- Due to changes implemented in June 2006, the name of a particular funding opportunity may have changed. If you cannot find an opportunity under the new naming convention, or if you have any questions, please contact info@cihr-irsc.gc.ca.
