Ms. Isabelle Chouinard completed her undergraduate degree in social work at the University of Calgary, followed by a Master's degree in Health Research, Community Health Sciences, at the same institution. She is currently a doctoral student in the laboratory of Dr. Glenys Godlovitch in the Department of Community Health Services at the University of Calgary. Ms. Chouinard is also an Ethics Volunteer for the Regional Clinical Ethics Services of the Calgary Health Region Organization.

Ms. Chouinard's doctoral work is focusing on developing an ethical model to guide the practice of ethically sound evidence-based medicine in the Canadian health care system.
