Description:

IT Service Management (ITSM) is of increased importance to any organization driving to improve service levels, contain costs and further develop their professional standards of performance.

IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practices for IT Service Management, and has become the de-facto standard for the management of IT services. Used by hundreds of organizations world-wide, ITIL consists of a series of manuals giving guidance and a standard process framework to support, provision, and manage quality IT services.

The IT Infrastructure Library Foundations seminar is designed to provide a foundation level of knowledge in IT Service Management and it's interrelated disciplines, including; Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, Service Level Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Financial Management for IT Services, and IT Service Continuity Management, as a systematic approach to delivering high-quality, cost effective services to meet both short and long term business requirements.

The certificate is issued by EXIN and is endorsed by the itSMF (IT Service Management Forum) and the OGC (Office of Government Commerce).
