Module 1 - Framework - Introduction
- Defines and explains key project management terms
- Provides overview of the structure of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide)
- Describes the project management context, including Program Management, Portfolio Management and the Project Management Office (PMO)
Module 2 - Framework - Project Life Cycle and Organization Discusses the broader environment within which the project is undertaken. Topics covered include:
- Project Phases and the Project Life Cycle
- Project Stakeholders
- Organizational Influences, including cultures and styles, structure and role of the PMO
Module 3 - Project Management Processes Establishes the concept of project management as a network of interlinked processes, and defines and explains the ways in which the processes are grouped and executed. Topics covered include:

- Project management process mapping
Module 4 - Project Integration Management Examines the processes required to ensure that that all the components of a project mesh together and produce a coherent project management plan to execute and monitor the project. The following processes are covered:

Module 8 - Project Quality Management Examines the processes required to ensure that the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken. The following processes are covered:

Module 12 - Project Procurement Management Examines the processes required to effectively acquire the products or services needed from outside the project team to perform the project work. The following processes are covered:

- Contract Closure
Module 13 - Wrap-Up & Sample Exam Consists of a review of the PMI perspective on project management to refresh and reinforce key issues learned throughout the course. Then, a sample examination is taken under examination conditions and the results are tabulated later in the day. An opportunity is also provided to review the questions and answers to help participants understand why they may have gotten some questions wrong.
Exam-writing skills are almost as important for success as mastery of the material. In this module, participants learn valuable strategies for answering questions, and have the opportunity to put them into practice on the sample examination. Being familiar with the format and type of questions on the PMP examination will allow participants to walk into the examination prepared to succeed.

Target Audience:
The course is designed for those working in a project oriented environment who wish take the PMI PMP examination. We recommend that participants should be within 6 months of meeting PMI's qualification requirements and wish to write the examination within that time frame.

Seminar highlights:
This course will assist individuals in their preparation for taking the PMI's PMP certification examination. The examination is the final step to becoming a PMP. It is designed to objectively assess and measure your ability to apply project management knowledge.
- The course material is principally based on the Third Edition of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, but is supplemented with other related materials that support the understanding of the subject matter.
- Each module is presented in seminar/workshop format and includes tutorials and sample exam questions.
- The course was designed and developed by experienced PMPs. Instructors are all PMP certified and experienced in both project management work and instructing.
