What is new/changed?

Technical amendments to Commissioner's Directives 566-10 - Urinalysis Testing in Institutions and 566-11 - Urinalysis Testing in the Community.

Why was the policy changed?

Commissioner's Directive 566-10 - Urinalysis Testing in Institutions was amended to reflect changes in test procedures, the random selection process and more flexibility in collecting samples. The annexes for both CD 566-10 and 566-11 were amended due to a revised list of drugs for testing purposes.

How was it developed?

The need for the technical amendments was highlighted following a review of the policy by the Security Branch at National Headquarters.

Accountability?

Institutional Heads are responsible for ensuring compliance.

Who will be affected by the policy?

CSC staff involved in urinalysis testing in institutions.
