PDFpdf

What is new/changed?

Commissioner's Directive 335, entitled "Fleet Vehicles" and associated Guidelines are rescinded. A number of government-wide authorities apply to the management and operation of CSC vehicles. New Guidelines on Fleet Management have been developed to provide integrated direction to CSC employees. To assist staff, hyperlinks to authorities, cross-references and forms have been added to the Guidelines.

What is the purpose of the change?

To ensure that CSC's policy does not duplicate government-wide policy and that direction concerning implementation of this policy is communicated to staff in a clear and consistent manner.

How was it developed?

The new Guidelines were developed by Technical Services in consultation with management and operational staff from all regions, the National Headquarters Policy Division and Legal Services.

Accountability?

The Guidelines clearly outline accountabilities for fleet management.

Who will be affected by the policy?

Every staff member concerned directly or indirectly with the procurement, use and maintenance of CSC fleet vehicles.

Expected cost?

None.

Other impacts?

None.
