FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ENHANCED INFORMATION SHARING ON FEDERAL OFFENDERS
Ottawa, July 21, 2005 - The Commissioner of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), Lucie McClung, and Ottawa Police Chief Vince Bevan invite you to attend a briefing and demonstration of an enhanced information-sharing application that further increases public safety.
CSC shares information on federal offenders with criminal justice partners, including police services, through InfoPol. InfoPol makes it much easier and faster for police officers to search for information and retrieve data.
