Pre-announcement of the Partnerships for Health System Improvement (PHSI) Request for Applications

(2006-10-11) This year's annual Partnerships for Health System Improvement (PHSI) Request for Applications (RFA) will be launched the week of October 16, 2006.

The purpose of this initiative is to support teams of researchers and decision-makers interested in conducting applied health research useful to health system managers and/or policy makers over the next two-to-five years. More specifically, successful applicant teams will conduct health services (including public health), health systems and policy research projects of up to three years in length, in thematic areas identified as high priority in national consultations (Listening for Direction II (LfDII)) conducted by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) - Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR), the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF) and partners.

The week of October 16, 2006, visit CIHR's Current Funding Opportunities for more details on the Operating Grant - Partnerships for Health System Improvement RFA.
