CIHR Michael Smith Prize in Health Research: Canada's Health Researcher of the Year, Call for Nominations

(2006-10-30) CIHR welcomes nominations for the CIHR Michael Smith Prize in Health Research: Canada's Health Researcher of the Year, CIHR's most prestigious research award. This prize was established to honour Dr. Michael Smith who shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1993, and is provided annually to an outstanding Canadian researcher who has demonstrated a high degree of innovation, creativity, leadership and dedication in health research. Candidates must be nominated by a member of the Canadian health research community and be endorsed by the executive head of the candidate's institution. Nominations must be submitted to CIHR by December 15, 2006.
