The Institute of Genetics (IG) and the Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR) of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) are pleased to announce the second "Health Services for Genetic Diseases" workshop taking place on November 5 to November 7, 2006 in Ottawa.

The objectives of the workshop are to:

The workshop will be designed to provide a context for this next round of RFA development with perspectives from leading international experts, project updates and insights from principal investigators with previously funded IG and IHSPR initiatives and unique perspectives from a panel of advisory organizations who "use the information" and agencies who produce and fund research as to priorities in health services research in genetic diseases.
