Well, you can...with Direct Deposit, a convenient service now available to recipients of Government of Canada pension payments who live in the United States.

With Direct Deposit, your payment is automatically deposited into your account at the participating financial institution of your choice in the United States.

Enjoy the convenience and benefits of Direct Deposit. With Direct Deposit you will receive your payment earlier. You are assured of complete confidentiality. There is no loss or delay of your payment due to postal disruptions. With Direct Deposit you need not worry about loss or theft of a paper cheque - sign up now.

How to enrol

Enrolment for Direct Deposit is easy. First, print and then complete the form (PDF, 483K) and mail it to the address below.

The first direct deposit will be made two or three months after your correctly completed enrolment form has been received. Your payment will be deposited into your account in United States dollars. Please note that the United States dollar amount of your payment may vary from month to month depending on the exchange rate used. You should also verify that your deposit has been made each month.
